
Chief Executive Officer, Westlink Ag Group
Having grown up in Southeast Pennsylvania and graduating with a BSAG from the University of Delaware, Pritchard spent his first 18 years in the industry with American Cyanamid Co. (now BASF). He began his career in sales in Nebraska, followed by product / marketing management posts on PURSUIT and PROWL herbicides in the US Crop Protection Chemical Group for 7 years. Thereafter, Pritchard moved onto the Latin American Group as Director of Marketing and Business Development, eventually taking over regional, executive leadership positions – first in Mexico (President – L.A. North) and then in Argentina (President – L.A. South). Upon returning to the US in December 2000, Pritchard went to work as the President/GM of United Phosphorus Ltd. (USA) for seven years and held other leadership positions with other generic crop protection manufacturers, until taking over as Chief Executive Officer of Westlink Ag Group in August 2016. In this capacity, Pritchard overseas a Retail Buying Group, comprised of 50 independent Ag Retailers, with over 400 satellite locations, covering 40 US States and Canada. He and his team provide these member companies with procurement, strategic and tactical direction in the crop protection, crop nutrition and other important agriculture input technology spaces. Westlink Ag also provides its members with unique programs in grower finance, an insurance captive, vehicle leasing, regulatory guidance, data management and targeted technology transfer.
