Amy Asmus

Owner and Vice President, Asmus Farm Supply, Inc

Amy Asmus, along with her husband Harlan, is Owner/Agronomist of Asmus Farm Supply, Inc. located in Rake, Iowa. AFS is a family-owned agricultural retailer selling crop protection, seed, seed treatment and plant nutrition to growers who self-apply crop inputs. With that, she is also involved as a partner in SecureTracs , a business helping retailers comply with EPA repackaging and tank tracking requirements.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Iowa State University. Currently Amy is the chairman of the Board at Agricultural Retailers Association where she advocates for all things ag retail. Amy is also a Past Chairs at Certified Crop Adviser – North American board and International Council. She also serves on Weed Science Society Herbicide resistance education and outreach committee, taking the message of weed resistance management to scientists, government leaders and growers along with other stakeholders across the US. Her experience and ownership in SecureTracs also go her recognition as a Woman in Ag Tech Ambassador.

Amy is mother to three children and grandmother to 7 grandchildren. She also is active in her church and loves to garden, quilt and travel with her family.

Amy is passionate in her beliefs and is fearless when it comes to getting results. She believes that being an active partner in many areas has been key to her success.
